Contract Notes

Nico Collins signed a 3 year contract extension with the Houston Texans on May 28, 2024. The contract base value is $72.750 million in new money with an additional $2.25 million available through incentives. Collins received a $17 million signing bonus and fully guaranteed salaries in 2024 and 2025. Collins's 2026 salary has a two-step vesting schedule on the 5th day of 2025 ($10 million) and the 5th day of 2026 (remaining $10 million).

On March 4, 2025 the Texans and Collins agreed to a contract restructure converting $12.33 million of salary to bonus and adding two void years for salary cap purposes.
